NOVA University Network offers a bank full of powerful tools. They will make it easier for you to build and develop a Nordic network. The intention is that these tools also will help you to you enjoy the benefits of a Nordic collaboration within Europe and EU.

Grants & Funding
Within NOVA you will find several forms of funding for Nordic cooperation within the areas of education and research. All teachers, researchers and students at NOVA member institutions are invited to apply for funding of joint ventures.
MSc projects concerns both single subject courses and complete programmes. PhD projects involves single subject courses and could also develop into a serie of courses.

Make yourself seen
Use the NOVA site as an advertising tool to make yourself seen. For the moment have visited the site since 26 august 2002.
Perhaps you want some help making a poster or pamphlet regarding your Nordic activities, or maybee your network need some help making your own site. Then it would be a good idea to contact the central coordinator Hannah Jörgensen, at NVH,

NOVA Mobility Guarantee
Student and teacher mobility is given highest priority within NOVA. To ensure that all students and teachers asking for grants to study or teach at any of the NOVA member institutions, NOVA has issued a financial guarantee, in addition to the basic Nordplus funding from the Nordic Council of Ministers (Nordiska Ministerrådet). Excellence in teaching
Teachers at the seven universities of NOVA seek to encourage in students a love of learning and intellectual curiosity, as well as themselves learning from students. Thus, the NOVAPEDICTNET was created in order to foster excellence in teaching and learning in various ways that change in response to changing institutional and society needs.
This website offers a number of contacts and facilities to help institutions, teachers and students in their efforts to create the best possible teaching and learning environment.

Hold your PhD-course in one of the Baltic states
Cooperate with the Baltic states or why not hold your PhD course in one of the Baltic states? BOVA University is the equivalent of NOVA University and the cooperation between these two networks is deep and fruitful in many ways.
Get in contact with NOVA Secretary General Knut Wålstedt if you want to know more about BOVA and what the Baltic states can do for you.

Use the NOVA data base to find the right course
UMB and NOVA have worked together on the first step to a complete NOVA course data base. For the moment you can find courses in Aquaculture and Biosystems Engineering.
The intention is to enlarge the data base so it will contain all the courses and programmes within NOVA.

NOVA University Network represent a Nordic state-of-the-art competence within the fields of agriculture, animal science, forestry, veterinary medicine, aquaculture and related biosciences.
This means that NOVA University Network is a high potential business partner regarding sustainable use of natural resources, food production, enhancement of the capacity for use of land, plants and animals according to sustainable principles, job creation and further education.
