Collaboration is a fruitful way to build expertise and provide competitive knowledge to the participants.

The NOVA University Network has been devised to initiate, administer and promote active cooperation between the Nordic forestry, veterinary and agricultural universities in education, teaching and research.

To be able to fulfil this mission NOVA has set up a bank of powerful tools for you, as an individual NOVA member, to use.

You - a NOVA teacher, researcher or administrator
The central secretariat, now based at Alnarp in Sweden and at NVH in Norway, is the focal point of NOVA. At the same time NOVA is decentralising its activities and exploring new ways of working.

A project-oriented modus for NOVA activities is seen as the best way to optimise information exchange and to monitor time, management and budget issues.

NOVA runs various kinds of network projects and administrative projects. As a teacher, researcher or administrator at the member universities, you will automatically have the benefit to join a network and get the possibility to have a share in the financial NOVA funds.

You - a NOVA student
Students at NOVA will find high standards in both the scope and quality of the teaching. NOVA has its own network of student advisors and funding is available through the Nordplus scheme.

You - a business representative
Trade and industry, as well as other organizations, will find in NOVA a team player with spearhead competence, and a wide, well-functioning network to promote their research and education activities.

As well as functioning as an expert speaking partner, NOVA also supplies trade and industry with well-trained staff and high quality extension services.

The combined capacity of the Nordic agricultural universities gives NOVA a strong international platform.
