BeeNOVA
One major aim of the NOVA Apiculture Network "BeeNOVA"
is to develop and implement a Nordic MSc-level teaching collaboration.
The collaboration will exploit the strengths and interests available
at the participating institutes in the area of apiculture and social
insects, allowing each partner to focus on their topics of excellence.
Students, however, can benefit from the joint Nordic expertise by
taking apiculture courses at all partner universities, thus having
the opportunity to collect the best possible teaching available in
the Nordic countries in this area into their study portfolio. |

Biosystems
Engineering
The Nordic School of Biosystems Engineering focuses on the interface
between Engineering and Biological systems. Encompassing a global
view of the entire food production system - the management of natural
resources in the production, processing, storage, handling, and
use of food fiber and other biological products.

Crop Pathology
Plant pathology, the study of plant diseases, is an interdisciplinary
study field comprising central aspects of field crop production and
horticulture, plant sciences, microbiology and genetics. Due to its
multidisciplinary character, education in plant pathology offers many

NorPath
with a generouse grant from the Nordic Council of Ministers, the area
of Plant Pathology has developed a joint Master program, NorPath.
During the first years, the program is mainly a mobility scheme, with
student enrolement at LIFE and UMB. >>> |

Pedictnet
Teachers at the seven universities of NOVA seek to encourage in students
a love of learning and intellectual curiosity, as well as themselves
learning from students. Thus, the NOVAPEDICTNET was created in order
to foster excellence in teaching and learning in various ways that
change in response to changing institutional and society needs.

Forestry & Urban
Greening
The area of Urban Greening & Urban Forestry has been regarded
as a potential area for Nordic co-operation. After a planning period
of approximately two years, a Nordic Master's Programme (60 ECTS)
is established at SLU, starting in the fall of 2005.

Veterinary Medicine
"Interfaculty new curriculum of veterinary educations" is
a NOVA project aiming at a harmonization of the last year of the veterinary
educations in the Nordic countries. Developing intensive courses to
be run in NOVA windows is seen as one important task for the NOVA
