Urban Forest & Urban Greening
A one-year Master programme in Urban Forestry Urban Greening is now launched,
accepting the first students from the fall of 2005. The programme is based on SLU/Alnarp
and starts as a cooperation between SLU and KVL. NLH and Helsinki university are to be
involved in the next step.

Workshop in ICT as a tool in distance learning
NOVA Pedictnet invited 20 Nordic and Baltic teachers and IT pedagogs to discuss the use of ICT
as a tool in distance learning concepts. It turned out that there are a lot of interesting experiences,
but also a lot yet to be learnt.

Evaluation of NOVA-BOVA
Self-evaluation of the NOVA-BOVA cooperation in 2002-2004 was carried out in August-October 2004. The results were discussed at an internal seminar in Pärnu http://www.bova-university.org/index.php?list=sem2004, Estonia, and are compiled in the self-evaluation report http://www.nova-university.org/PDFer/bova/nova_bova_selfev_report.pdf. The self-evaluation will be followed-up by an external evaluation in December 2004.
