PhD courses 2007 - Invitation for funding
This is a formal invitation to send an application for NOVA funding of
PhD courses 2007. Even if you were approved a series of events for
courses 2006 and on, we request a full application for courses 2007.

NOVA Prize 2006
Every year the NOVA Prize will be awarded to a person, who is
working at one of the NOVA member universities, and with considerable efforts has
developed and increased the Nordic cooperation. The amount of the NOVA
Prize is 3.000 euro.

A new Course Design Tool
With the support of NOVA the Course Design Tool, Kummel, has now been
translated into English and a first version is available at
http://kummel.slu.se/eng_kummel.html.

The development of on-line courses requires a number of new skills and
competence, including knowledge regarding distance learning and learning
technology. Part of Kummel is a web-based course design tool that gives
teachers an interactive support when designing new courses, especially
on-line courses.

Kummel was originally developed by the Learning Development Centre
at SLU (UCL), in co-operation with two other Swedish universities.
