Tuition fee
At present, applicants from, Nordic, EU and EEA countries (including Norway and Iceland) do not pay tuition fees.

However, at KU-LIFE all students with citizenship outside EU/EEA must pay tuition fees. Programme tuition fees per year for full-time degree students: EUR 14.000 (2007).

Total costs for your study will be:
* Traveling expenses to and from the introduction course
* Housing at the home and exchange university.
* Traveling expenses when moving to and between the universities.
* For some courses small financial contributions need to be paid for excursions.
* Non-EU/EAA students at KU-LIFE: Tuition fee both 1st and 2nd year of the MSc programme

Grants
* Nordplus
Nordic students can obtain Nordplus grants via NOVA (www.nova-university.org), which is a network for cooperation between Nordic Forestry, Veterinary and Agricultural
Universities/Faculties.
To get a NOVA-Nordplus grant the exchange must be:
1) a full-time study,
2) between 1week -12 month long
3) an intensive course at one of the NOVA institutions
4) eligible for credit transfer
5) you must move to the place in question
6) you must at least be in our second year of study
For study periods exceeding 4 weeks, the grant amounts to 180 euro per month for living expenses. You also receive a travel grant depending on the destination.
For intensive courses lasting at least 5 days (and less than 4 weeks), you can apply for an express mobility grant that amounts to 300 euro for travelling to other NOVA member institutions. If you for instance travel between KU-LIFE and Iceland the grant is 500 euro. Take contact with the International Office at your home university for more information.
