Open call 2015 will be launched primo January 2015

NOVA will in 2015 hold an all year open call for grant applications for PhD courses, Master's courses exceeding EUR 5 000 and for course series. NB! Applications are approved by the NOVA board three times a year. Courses approved in the March meeting in 2015 can be implemented in the autumn 2015 or in 2016. Courses approved in later board meetings in 2015 can run in 2016.

 

Our ambition is to launch the open call 2015 in the beginning of January 2015. Updated application system, course budget templates and information on procedures, rules and what can be covered will be available on the NOVA website then.

PhD course in plant breeding in June - open for registration

The goal of the course is to introduce genomics based methods in plant breeding. These include marker assisted selection breeding, genomic selection, and molecular breeding by traditional genetic engineering, as well as novel genome editing techniques.
The course includes literature, lectures, presentations, and site visits to breeding and research facilities.
