Applications for MSc courses < EUR 5 000 and other projects < EUR 5 000

It is possible to apply for funding of MSc courses not exceeding EUR 5 000 and other projects not exceeding EUR 5 000 continuously. The application is simplified and less documents are needed.

 

The course/project must run in 2014 or 2015.

 

NB! There are many changes in the requirements, expenses covered, rules, evaluation system and application system from earlier as NOVA adopted a new strategy in 2014.

 

No deadline. Applications can be submitted continously.

NOVA Open Call 2014 - Reopened for a Second Round of Applications

Exceptionally this year, it is opened for a new round of the open call 2014 due to a small number of applications received by the original deadline. We are worried that due to changed application systems and deadlines from earlier years, prospective applicants may not have been aware of the call. New application deadline: 5 August.

 

It is possible to apply for funding of PhD courses and Master courses exceeding 5 000 euro and finding place in 2015, as well as for funding of course series.
NB! There are many changes in the requirements, expenses covered, rules, evaluation system and application system from earlier open calls as NOVA adopted a new strategy in 2014.

Open call 2014 will be launched around 1 May 2014

 

NOVA is in the process of changing strategies. The grant rules and the application system are being adapted to the new strategy.

 

Our ambition is to launch the open call for applications for funding of PhD courses and master courses above 5 000 € that will take place in 2015 around 1 May 2014.

 

The application deadline set in the new strategy is 15 June.

 

Information on the new grant rules, evaluation criteria, application system etc. will be published on the NOVA homepage.

The goal of the course is to introduce genomics based methods in plant breeding. These include marker assisted selection breeding, genomic selection, and molecular breeding by traditional genetic engineering, as well as novel genome editing techniques.
The course includes literature, lectures, presentations, and site visits to breeding and research facilities.
