Based on the belief that together we are stronger, NOVA offers joint Nordic specialized courses and programmes within the disciplines of forestry, veterinary and agricultural sciences. NOVA courses and programmes are planned, run, and taught by leading Nordic teachers and researchers that have come together in NOVA networks. Their cooperation ensures that teaching is based on latest scientific results using adequate teaching methods.

 

NOVA offers mainly PhD courses, in general being intensive courses of one to two weeks. A more limited range of master level courses are also available. As a master student, you may however inquire vacancy for the PhD courses, too, from the contact mentioned in the course information.

 

All the NOVA courses are free for the students who are registered PhD students in the NOVA member universities / faculties. More information is availabe here >>>

 

 

Scholarships
 
NOVA finances courses and network projects, which allows students to participate in courses out of their home universities with subsidised living costs, but NOVA does not have any scholarships directed to individual students.

 

BSc and MSc students can apply for scholarships that cover travel and living costs from Nordplus .
 

NSB - NOVA Student Board

NOVA students are represented in the Board and the Advisory Committee (KUF).

NOVA Student Board (NSB) assembles both PhD and Master students from all member universities.
