Course abstract The course aims to train PhD students and advanced MSc students in Ecology and Management of Waterfowl and their habitats. It will also be a first step in forming a Nordic network in wildlife education.Ecological part of the course will contain such themes as waterfowl community ecology, limitation of breeding waterfowl populations and strategies of wintering waterfowl. Management part will focus on flyway approach in the management, as well on carrying capacity of breeding grounds.
