Urban Forestry & Urban Greening represents a field that requires
interdisciplinary tools and methods in order to create sustainable
and more vital cities. Due to its interdisciplinary character often
studying complex situations within the urban fabric case studies
is an important research strategy in the field. During the course
period the students will get insight in the history and background
of case study research, methodology and with this as a basis being
able to carry out case studies themselves. This includes the design
of case studies, actual conducting case studies as well as analysing
of case study evidence with special attention to Urban Forestry
and Urban Greening.
