| Course abstract |
The main objective of the new PhD course is to disseminate knowledge concerning wood material and technology, i.e. " wood structure and properties with a special emphasis on
wood durability through a program of instruction and advanced study that is focused on current and future techniques and technology. The secondary objective of the course is to find and discuss the scientific and industrial problems in an active and beneficial manner providing continuing forest education opportunities for PhD students and industrial representatives. The course is intended for PhD students at universities in the Nordic countries, the Baltic region and North-West Russia. An option is included where students can choose and attend only part of the course. |
