The aim of the course is to present different aspects of insect chemical ecology in such a way as to give PhD students in other fields an overview of the subject and, at the same time, give students in chemical ecology an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge in their own as well as related fields of research. Impact of chemical stimuli on insect behaviour and ecology
Chemistry of behaviourally active compounds and methods for analyses
Current and future applications: plant protection, control of insects as disease vectors, robotics and evolutionary research
