The course will consist of a series of modules covering the main
multivariable analytic techniques used in veterinary epidemiology:
linear regression (continuation from 1st course), logistic regression,
Poisson / negative binomial regression, study design and validity
issues (selection, misclassification and confounding bias), survival
analysis, dealing with clustered data and interpreting ecologic
study results. Material will be presented as a mixture of lectures
and computer-based laboratories.
The course will be based on the the book Veterinary Epidemiologic
Research (http://www.upei.ca/ver) written by the teachers in the
course
